Nat's First Entry...

Hi there!

As I sit here and think oh wow what exactly is happening! I still can't really believe that it IS happening...33 days and we will be setting off!  

People always ask 'What is your dream' and I used to say 'I want to travel the world' but I didn't really think this one would come true!! 

I couldn't think of anyone better than to be doing this with my sister too! To experience this together and to take on this challenge together (and believe me it will be a challenge...no hair drier, no mascara, not enough underwear to last for the whole trip!..... Oh god, can we do this?!?!) is such a fantastic thing! Two sisters going on a lil adventure of a lifetime! 

I want to say a HUGE Thank You to Rachael for being such a wonderful trip organiser! Now she has left Uni she has taken a lot of her time planning detailed routes, emailing hostels and getting certain information for our trip. She has done SOOO well! 

Passport is renewed - visas organised - driving permit received, toot toot! - tours booked and eye test booked for tomorrow (so I can see the places at their full potential!!!).

I hope you follow us on here and we will look forward to sharing our experiences with you! It's a shame I can't fit you in my bag!

Welcome to our travel blog!!

Hellllooooo......

This is our travel blog of our up and coming adventures! 

Starting the 26th of February, we'll be heading to our first stop Bangkok. From there we'll be making our way down through the islands, then to Kuala Lumpur and finally Singapore. 

We'll then we adventuring up the East Coast of Australia which includes nipping in towards to Uluru (Ayers Rock) for a few days. Then on to New Zealand, doing sand boarding and other activities such as major sunbathing when we reach Fiji and finally slowly heading eastwards from LA all the way over to our final stop Washington. 

This trip has literally been years in the planning, starting almost from an impossible dream and now reaching reality! Flights booked, kit bought, visas approved...all we need to do now is wet ourselves a little bit at the thought and then for the nervousness to turn into pure excitement!!

Obviously Internet won't be available every second of the day however due to us going to touristy areas it shouldn't be too much of a problem getting internet. 

We'll be updating this a bit like our diary/blog and putting pictures showing the things and places we've seen and obviously whoever fancies reading along the way then that's brill :) We will be taking it in turns to write these entries and so it'll either be me and Nat.

So here's to 2014 being the best year yet :)
